TRULY WORTH IT

Now that you're in heaven
Where the streets are paved with gold
You've kissed the scars of Jesus
And talked with saints of old
Was it truly worth it
Every mile that you trod
Just to hear the angels sing
And touch the face of God
Now that you're in heaven
Where there is no more death
You've seen the crystal river
And it took away your breath
Was it truly worth it
All you had to endure
Just to live with Him forever
Who is holy and pure
I know if you could answer
From His most holy place
You'd say, it's surely worth it
Keep on running this race
For nothing can compare
To the joy that awaits
And this will truly all be worth it
When you step inside the gates
