The day may be dreary
And the sky overcast
But I'm not concerned
That the climate will last.
For the love in my heart
And the warmth in my soul
Give me comfort and power
To banish the cold.
When my faith in the Lord
Remains steadfast and true
Then into my life
The sushine shines through.
And the light of the Lord
Illumines the way
To change gloom into joy
And a bright cheery day.
