MY LONELY HOUSE IS WARM AND SWEET

by:
Alice Hansche Mortenson

My lonely house is warm and sweet

With all the days of living.

THe happiness still lingers here,

The loving, the forgiving,

The laughter and the tears. The prayers

To God's white throne ascending

Enfold me now with quiet peace

Past human comprehending.

It was, it is a Christian home,

To God be the glory,

While life shall last may its warm glow

Send forth redemption's story.
