CHILDREN OF A KING

by:
Shirley R. Heinrich

Life's chores can seem so endless
As we walk thru every day;
Why must we fret,
Feel deep regret,
Walk daily with a frown,
'Twould better be
If we could see
We're welcome to His crown.

Our life holds many treasures
As our future does unfold;
His wisdom feeds
All those in need
And sanctifies each one,
No Kinder plan
For mortal man
Than the gift of His own Son.

If we would just embrace Him
Hold fast His every Word;
Our fates resolve,
As we evolve,
Our very souls would sing,
For we would see,
So easily,
We're children of a King!
