MY HAND IN HIS!

by:
Sancie Earman King

Oh wondrous Saviour Who art mine
May my small hand remain in Tine,
That I not independent be
But anchored solely, Lord in Thee!

And Christ, may I in Thee abide
That I not leave Thy wounded side,
But see the sorrows Thou hast borne
Before the dawn of Easter morn.

Oh blessed Jesus, hear my prayer
That I may ever be aware
Of Thy dear love, which like a balm
Can sin-sick surging souls becalm.

Oh dear and precious Prince of Peace
Whose tender mercy doth not cease,
Oh may my life like light so shine
That it be patterned after Thine!
