A NEW BEGINNING

With the newness of each morning
When the sun begins to rise,
How our hearts are filled with joy
As we gaze up to the skies.
For each dawn is filled with gladness
We're so grateful for the day,
One more chance to do God's bidding
And make amends for yesterday.
As we spend these precious hours
May we ever be aware
That this gift of one more day
Is but a gift to spend with care.
Every day's a new beginning,
Though the last it may well be,
But if we spend it well, we'll spend
Our life with Him eternally.
