WONDERMENT

by:
Virginia Borman Grimmer

Something puts the trills in birds,
Springtime's breezes, whispering words.
Something makes the sun to glow,
Puts on Fall's majestic show.

Something scents the rose so fair,
Brushes blush upon the pear.
Something paints a rainbow arc,
Lights the firefly at dark.

Something greens the pastureland,
Sows wildflowers, stately grand.
Something sends a gentle rain,
Greens the maples by the lane.

Yes, something brings this wonderment,
So lovely, precious, heaven-sent.
It's God Whose unseen hand on high,
Brings all these wonders ever nigh.
