TOMORROW'S GOLD

by:
Richard E. Rybolt

Yesterday was perfect
Today that's not quite so,
The sun has slipped behind the hill
And lost its golden glow.

I asked about the reason,
Why hard times have to be.
Why God in His great wisdom,
Does He not care for me?

God doesn't make us stumble
But He will help us up.
He'll walk along beside us
Until we're strong enough.

And so, around some wooded bend
Not too far down the road,
The sun will rise above the hill
Again life turns to gold.
