IN FAITH I PRAY

Gracious Lord, merciful Lord,
As I kneel to pray
Look on all those that I love
Tenderly, today.
Rid their hearts of weariness.
Erase their every care.
Let them know, thru faith in You
That life is sweet, and fair.
Bring to all the sorrowing
And those who are in pain,
Joy and comfort, from the heart,
Let them smile again.
I pray for all the needy
And those who are alone
Unite them with their loved ones
One day before Your throne.
The world beyond awaits us
All who believe and pray,
And "love our neighbor as ourself"
As we go on our way.
