THINGS WORTH-WHILE

by:

Walking down life's road I've found
many lovely things to see,
simple, worth-while "gifts of God"
that can't be bought by you or me.

Such things as little ones at play,
the fragrance of a lovely flower,
the dawning of a bright new day,
the stillness of a twilight hour.

A kitten purring in the sun,
the azure blue of summer skies,
teenage youngsters having fun,
the setting sun as daylight dies.

The warmth you feel when someone smiles,
the brightness of the stars above,
- and God's greatest gift of all -
His everlasting love!
