PEACEFUL LITTLE STREAM

There is a peaceful little stream
Where all is quiet and serene;
From out life's cares I often go
To where its gentle waters flow.
No other place can bring more calm
Or lift my heart in praiseful psalm,
Here beside still waters clear
God seems to be so very near.
From life's sorrow and harsh demand
I've come to know God's healing plan.
My peaceful stream is known as prayer
And I must often journey there.
