The charming birdbath on my lawn
Comes alive at early dawn,
And as I view my feathered friends,
Sweet enchantment never ends.
Their flutterings bring sheer delight
As they display their plumage bright;
I lok upon the day with love
As God rejoices from above.
No quiet pastime can compare
To the joy that I find there,
And though at dusk they slip away,
My friends return at break of day.
